HOW WE HELP

A FRESH START SERVES THOSE EMERGING FROM HOMELESSNESS

Local service organizations and government agencies who help people experiencing housing insecurity refers clients to AFS. We then work directly with the clients to determine their needs and coordinate getting items to them. We provide as many household items and furniture as possible so they have all they need to create a home that allows them to truly have a fresh start.

We welcome:

new and lightly used household items
New pajamas, socks, underwear, slippers and hygiene items
Financial donations, which will be used when we need to buy items and for our overhead needs such as storage and moving expenses.
